Active Flag

The Active Flag is a Department of Education and Skills initiative which seeks to recognise schools that strive to achieve a physically active and physically educated school community.

We at Kilgarvan Central School endeavour to be active physically and educated physically on a daily basis.  We have a very hard working Active Flag committee who help us to achieve this.  Kilgarvan Central School operates exciting playground games at break time each day.

A very successful “Active Week” was held from June 9th to June 13th 2014 with the help and support of the teachers, parents and the wider school community.

Looking forward to an active term ahead!
